The UHAS Basic School has been planned, with clearly defined goals in mind, to aid learners and other stakeholders to deliver quality basic education. With our enhanced curriculum, every child is offered the opportunity to discover him or herself early in life through the in-class activities and well structured co-curricular regime. All learners are aware that they are future leaders not only when they are in the ‘Leadership’ class but also in all that they do. I find them amazing little wonders, especially their enormous power to learn whatever they are guided to.
We are privileged to have well trained and experienced, professional teachers who consider the frequent challenges posed by the learners as opportunities for personal, continuous, professional development.
Excellence, innovation, integrity and service are the driving forces that motivate our deviation from the status quo while not losing sight of the core expectations of a basic educational enterprise in Ghana.
