Mr. Gordon Kudzo Antor is an accountant assigned to the UHAS Basic School. He holds a Master’s degree in finance from Coventry University, United Kingdom, a first degree in Accounting and Finance from Evangelical Presbyterian University College, Ho and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
Mr. Antor was assigned to the School of Medicine and the School of Allied Health Sciences (UHAS) as a principal accounting assistant from January 2017 up until May 2020, responsible for the following functions: preparation of the schools’ annual budget, vetting, preparation and submission of external examiners claims, part-time lecturers’ claims, management of schools’ office imprest, bank transactions and retirement of other accountable imprests.
He also worked as a senior accounts officer and later as an accountant with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department at the Volta Regional Treasury and at the district and municipal assembly levels where he was in charge of preparation of financial statements, final account, monthly Sub CF bank reconciliation statement, preparation and submission of e-transcript, maintaining contract register, updating control ledgers and preparation and submission of withholding tax and social security contribution returns.
His area of research is: Capital mobilization through cooperative credit unions and socio-economic development of the Ghanaian worker.
