Mr. Seth Korgah was appointed the first Head of the UHAS Basic School in January 2021. Having trained as a professional at St. Francis Training College, Hohoe (now St. Francis College of Education), he started as a classroom teacher and went into school administration for eight years at the Ghana Education Service. After his Bachelor’s in Education, he joined the private sector in 2003, where he spent 18 successful years in private school administration as a quality control officer or principal.
He has been very successful in nurturing young schools, restructuring existing ones, and bringing them into the limelight through research, innovation and professional staff development.
He holds a Master’s in Education (Administration and Management) from University of Education, Winneba. He also has a Bachelor’s in Education in Ghanaian Language from same institution. He has attended many professional developments sessions over the years.
