Ms. Eunice Buabeng-Odoom is an Early Childhood teacher at the UHAS Basic School. Before her appointment at the Basic School, she was a teacher at Methodist Rafiki Satellite School, Gyahaadze, Winneba. There, she served in many capacities including as Drama Director, Secretary of the Harvest Planning Committee, Anniversary Planning Committee, and Parent-Teacher Association.
Eunice is a professional licensed teacher with a Certificate in Preschool; Diploma in Early Childhood Education; and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education, all from the University of Education, Winneba. She holds an additional certificate in journalism from the African University College of Communications, Accra, Ghana. She is passionate about school guidance and counselling and will be pursuing further studies in that area shortly.
Eunice had spent over seven years teaching all subjects in the Early Childhood Department, specifically Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes. Aside from her immediate past employers, she worked with Mephibosheth Training School for the Disabled, where she trained and nurtured disabled children on how to be comfortable in their environment. Miss Buabeng-Odoom believes that disciplining, counselling and guiding children are key to their developmental stages; hence, her commitment over the past years to training children.
