Mrs. Yaa Obuo Duedu joined the University of Health and Allied Sciences in 2020. She is a principal administrative assistant at the University of Health and Allied Sciences Basic School. She serves as Secretary to the Internal Management Team of the Basic School.
Before her appointment at UHAS, she played various administrative roles at TV Africa, where she began her career as an Assistant Programmes Officer. She is self-motivated and passionate about what she does. As a result of this, she was awarded the “Osagefo Award for Excellence in Programming” in 2012 by the CEO of TV Africa. Yaa also worked with the Harmony Employment Agency in the UK as a support worker, and she served as a volunteer with Cancer Research UK and Bethany Christian Trust, also in the UK, for a year.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Administration, both from the University of Ghana.
